Four Arrests From Dozens of Local Burglaries

Four men are in the Brazos County jail, accused of what College Station police believes are dozens of burglaries.

Assistant chief Chuck Fleeger says the recovered stolen property from a home west of Millican filled a police department conference room.

Two men from Bryan, 20 year old Tyler Sanchez and 22 year old Matthew Murphy, and two brothers from College Station, 22 year old Kenneth and 23 year old Shawn Greer, were arrested, and Fleeger says more arrests are expected. For Sanchez, it’s his 15th arrest in the last six years.

At approximately 1030 hrs, Deputies with Brazos County Precinct 2 Constable’s Office located Sanchez in a vehicle at a residence in the 21000 blk of FM 159 in south Brazos County and were able to take him into custody for those warrants charging Sanchez with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Evading Arrest or Detention (Felony). At that time Sanchez was also found in possession of methamphetamine and was subsequently charged with the outstanding warrants and the new charge of Possession of a Controlled Substance. An additional person that was in the vehicle with Sanchez was arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana, Failure to Identify, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia as well as outstanding warrants from Bryan Police Department.
