The former executive director of a Bryan church-based non-profit assisting the disabled is accused of misusing her former employer’s credit cards.

45 year old Shannon Seale worked at Mosaic of Southeast Texas. According to court records, Seale filed paperwork stating she used two credit cards to pay for electric bills at a home Mosaic owns on Carter Creek Parkway occupied by developmentally disabled residents.

Seale later told investigators she used the cards to pay almost $2,100 dollars in BTU bills for her home on Woodglen between March and October of last year.

An official of the Mosaic office in suburban Dallas who filed the original police report in January accused Seale of using three company credit cards for personal purchases totalling nearly $20,000. But the criminal case against Seale involves only the charges to pay the BTU bills.

Jail records listed Seale’s current address in Houston.
