A former employee of the College Station Wal-Mart was arrested this week, accused of taking $2,134 in cash and merchandise while on the job.
20 year old Nikki Leydecker of College Station is out of jail after posting bond of $5,000.
Store security and police say Leydecker committed the thefts last August and September.
She said she stole the money to pay bills and because her fiance was unemployed.
Investigators say on ten occasions during the two-month period, Leydecker walked out of the store with up to $200 dollars in her pocket.
