Former Convenience Store Clerk Headed To Prison After Admitting To Stealing Cash And Merchandise

A former employee of a local convenience store is headed to prison for stealing more than $10,000 dollars in cash and merchandise.

The Brazos County district attorney’s office announced a plea agreement with 44 year old Rosharon Lummus that includes a 12 year sentence.

According to the Bryan police arrest report, she admitted to taking almost $6,800 dollars in cash from the Stripes store at Briarcrest and the freeway between March and September of last year.

Court documents indicate she was ordered to pay restitution for the cash she stole.

According to the DA’s news release, Lummus also took lottery tickets and other merchandise from the store.
