Former Bryan Police Chief Loses Mayoral Bid in Freeport

While May municipal elections are a thing of the past in the twin cities, there was a Bryan connection to what voters decided Saturday in the gulf coast city of Freeport.

When Morrow announced his candidacy, he said Bryan/College Station were racist cities and he was the target of political witchhunts in Bryan and Freeport. Morrow had been Freeport’s police chief until he was fired at the end of January.
