Flash Flood Rescues To No Rain Saturday Night In Brazos County

Some portions of Bryan/College Station had enough rainfall Saturday night to prompt high water rescues. Other areas had no rain.

As of Sunday morning, no deaths or injuries were reported by local law enforcement and emergency management officials.

The National Weather Service office in Houston received a report of 11.64 inches from a location in northern Grimes County.

Around Brazos County, reports ranged from 1.35 to 5.85 inches.

The Brazos County road and bridge department Twitter account listed county road closures Sunday on their Twitter account @BCRB_Department.

The Grimes County sheriff’s office Facebook page reports some county road bridges were damaged and county roads closed near Iola and Bedias.

In Robertson and Leon counties, there were no reports of damage from local authorities following tornado warnings that were posted Saturday night. The National Weather Service office in Ft. Worth, which covers Robertson and Leon counties, tweeted two survey teams were scheduled to conduct damage surveys on Sunday from Saturday’s storms.
