First Waiting Period Ends For New UT-Austin President

The new president at the University of Texas-Austin went to Twitter to mark the end of the 21 day waiting period after the UT Board of Regents named him sole finalist.

The Associated Press reports Greg Fenves is the school’s provost and has been second in command since 2013.

He will take over as president on June 3rd and will get a base salary of $750,000.
