Fire Hits East Bryan Home And Cars

Most of a house on Bryan’s east side is gone following a fire Sunday afternoon.

Deputy fire marshal William Bouse says investigators returned to 4603 Castle Avenue Monday searching for the cause of the fire.

Bouse says the 61 year old woman inside the home heard a noise in the living room, and ran out of the house after discovering black smoke in the living room and kitchen.

The fire destroyed 90 percent of the house along with the carport and two cars.

No injuries were reported.
