Fire Chief of the Year is Bryan’s Randy McGregor

Bryan Fire Department Chief Randy McGregor is Texas Fire Chief of the year.

Mayor Jason Bienski made the announcement during Tuesday’s city council meeting.

The annual award was one of two for the Bryan Fire Department during the Texas Fire Chief Association’s (TFCA) annual awards program in Frisco.

McGregor was unanimously selected for the TFCA’s highest honor for service.

Promoted to Chief in July 2012, McGregor has been with the department since 1983.

The department was presented the TFCA’s Lone Star Achievement Award. That’s for implementing what was described as an innovative and progressive program enhancing Bryan’s fire and life safety service delivery.
