Fire Alarms Generate Brief Evacuation at Consolidated HS

Consolidated High School was evacuated about 40 minutes Tuesday during the noon hour after the fire alarms were activated.

College Station ISD communications director Chuck Glenewinkel says one motor on a rooftop air conditioning unit seized up, generating smoke that caused the alarms to go off.

College Station firefighters were sent to the school to do an investigation.
