Fifth Bryan City Council Report On Castle Heights Neighborhood Projects In 18 Months

For the fifth time in 18 months, Bryan city staff has reported to the city council on what’s being done in the Castle Heights neighborhood east of the freeway and south of Highway 21.

Councilman Prentiss Madison, who represents the district, talked about efforts by city staff to educate Castle Heights residents, particularly about flooding.

Councilman at large Buppy Simank joined Madison in requesting the latest update from the public works department.

City manager Kean Register says through January of this year, the cost of projects the last five years in Castle Heights have totaled almost $400,000 dollars.
