Fees Approved to Computerize Brazos County Records

Brazos County Commissioners this week took action on user fees to pay for computerizing old records from two departments.

District Court Clerk Marc Hamlin says the surcharge for civil cases is going up from $5 to $10. His office has records going back to the 1800’s. In addition to the penmanship, Hamlin says it’s fascinating history.
