The center houses the emergency management offices of the four jurisdictions.
Bryan councilman Greg Owens reported at Tuesday’s council meeting that the CEOC board recently approved a feasibility study that might lead to moving the center.
Now located in downtown Bryan, Owens says the current space is leased through April 17, 2018.
Owens says the CEOC board recently approved a feasibililty study that might lead to moving the center.
Owens’ list of possible sites included a new building on county-owned land in Bryan’s Park Hudson neighborhood along with the city’s former police headquarters and unnamed properties on the A&M campus.
The study will also include the possibility of adding the Brazos County 9-1-1 service.
The cost will be less than $10,000, divided equally among the four partners.
