Everett and Raven to Miss Some Game Time For a Violation of Athletic Department Policies

Texas A&M starting defensive backs Deshazor Everett and Floyd Raven each must miss some game time for a violation of athletic department policies, athletic director Eric Hyman announced on Saturday. Both were suspended from team activities for nearly a month after each were charged this summer with two counts of misdemeanor assault and one count of criminal mischief stemming from an April incident in College Station. Both turned themselves in and were released from jail shortly thereafter on July 1.  Everett, a starting cornerback, will be suspended a half game while Raven, projected to start at safety, will be suspended a full game.
