Entertainment Announced for Duck Jam & New Festival Agreement Approved

Year six of College Station’s Duck Jam means year one of a new five year contract between the city and the festival promoter.

The city council voted to provide $26,900 dollars of in-kind services, give up rental fees and concession revenue which last year was $8,100, and offer $15,000 dollars in hotel-motel tax money if occupancy goals are met. In exchange, the city is supposed to be the festival’s title sponsor.

Councilman Jess Fields voted no.
