Eight people are accused of engaging in organized criminal activity for their roles in a drug trafficking operation in the Brazos Valley.
That’s according to a news release from the Brazos County sheriff’s office that also says Bryan police and the department of public safety were also involved in the arrests of six men and two women in Brazos and Burleson counties.
The arrests for organized criminal activity followed each agency conducting independent investigations, when they learned their cases were connected.
A sheriff’s office spokesman said drug seizures included more than three pounds of methamphetamine valued at more than $10,000 dollars. Also seized was undisclosed amounts of cocaine, MDMA, psilocybin mushrooms, and marijuana.
The news release identified the following people on the following charges:
- 44 year old Gary Lee Howard of Bryan:

Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Penalty Group 1, 400 grams or more
Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Penalty Group 1 4-200g (2 counts)
- 52 year old Raymond Beaudet of Bryan:
Capias/Engage Organized Criminal Activity
Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Penalty Group 1>=400g
Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Penalty Group 14-200g
Parole Violation Warrant
- 45 year old Jereme Youree of Caldwell:

- 47 year old Karen Spiller of College Station:

- 61 year old Edward Holder of North Zulch:

- 44 year old Clayton Collier of Bryan:

- 27 year old Forrest Crump of Bryan:
Possession of a Controlled Substance, Penalty Group 1, 4–200 grams
- 25 year old Alexandria Short of College Station:
Possession of a Controlled Substance, Penalty Group 1, 1–4 grams
Brazos County jail records show as of December 11, Howard was held on bonds totaling $330,000 dollars, Beaudet was held for a parole violation and bonds totaling $250,000 dollars, Spiller was held on bonds totaling $122,000 dollars, Holder was released after posting a $100,000 dollar bond, Collier was released after posting a $10,000 dollar bond, Crump was released after posting a $25,000 dollar bond, and Short was released after posting an $8,000 dollar bond. Youree was served the warrant for organized criminal activity in the Burleson County jail while being held on a parole warrant from a separate incident.
