Easterwood Airport Receives $2.8 Million Federal Grant

Easterwood Airport in College Station received a $2.8 million federal grant to rehabilitate the airport’s taxiway.

The funding comes through the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) Airport Improvement Program (AIP).

WASHINGTON– The Easterwood Field Airport in College Station, Texas was awarded a $2,860,112 federal grant to rehabilitate the airport’s taxiway, U.S. Sen. John Cornyn announced today. The funding comes through the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) Airport Improvement Program (AIP).

“Access to safe and efficient infrastructure is critical as so many Texans travel for work, leisure, and visiting loved ones,” said Sen. Cornyn. “I proudly supported this funding in the Senate, and I thank President Trump and Secretary Chao for supporting the needs of Texans in Brazos County.”
