Recent drunk driving arrests in the twin cities includes a College Station man who drove his Mustang into an apartment. The arrest report from College Station police did not indicate anyone was in the kitchen, where the car came to a stop. The driver, 18 year old David Montoya-Jones, who lives at The Woodlands apartments where he crashed his car, took two breath samples while at the city jail. The average alcohol level was point .14, almost 80 percent above the legal limit.
Bryan firefighters had to force a door open to get a driver out of his SUV after running over a fence and striking a pipeline outside the U.S. Oil and Gas building off Finfeather Tuesday night. 36 year old Carlos Robles-Rodriguez of Bryan, according to the arrest report, was not aware he had crashed into the building before he was arrested for DWI.
Bryan police arrested a woman for her first DWI after her SUV struck three parked cars then a tree that prevented her vehicle from hitting a house on Oaklawn. One of the parked cars was turned around and was in a driveway. According to the arrest report, 18 year old Kindel Harp of College Station admitted to being intoxicated.
A Bryan man with three prior convictions was arrested after a Bryan policeman saw the driver’s SUV jump the concrete median on Villa Maria near the Tejas Center and was driving in the wrong lanes. 53 year old Patrick Daly remained in jail Wednesday afternoon in lieu of a $10,000 dollar bond.
