DWI Arrests By College Station Police Follow A Crash And A Citizen’s Report

A College Station man released from prison early for theft and marijuana possession was arrested last week on a drunk driving charge. According to the arrest report, 35 year old Albert Gardner Jr. told College Station police he was walking down the sidewalk when a car struck a light pole last week at George Bush Drive and Holik. The owner of the car told police that Gardner drove him home because he had a suspended license, then Gardner asked to borrow the car for another hour.

Another D-W-I arrest by College Station police began with a citizen’s report of a car swerving all over Highway 6 near Nantucket last Sunday night. According to the arrest report, the officer also reported the car swerving multiple times before stopping. 53 year old Russell Brooks of Bryan is out of jail on bond following his arrest for drunk driving with two prior convictions.
