A Waco man was jailed Thursday morning after police say he hit multiple vehicles while driving drunk near Northgate.
College Station police arrested Jacob McKenzie, a 26-year-old Waco man, on three charges of failure to stop and leave information and DWI.
Police said McKenzie fled the scene of the first crash shortly before 2 a.m. near College Main and Church Street.
An officer spotted him driving the wrong way down Old College moments before he hit a second vehicle and crashed into a building near the roundabout at the intersection with College Main.
His path of destruction ended when police say he ran over a gate in a parking lot, but not before he hit a third vehicle.
Bryan Police assisted in the investigation.
