Twice as many people attended downtown Bryan’s lighted Christmas parade as the last time the parade was held.

Katelyn Brown at the Destination Bryan tourism office says the estimate two years ago was 5,000.

The pandemic cancelled the parade last year.

Thursday night’s estimate was 10,000.

Brown said it was a “testimony that people wanted to get out and celebrate” the holiday season.
