An unscheduled event at First Friday in downtown Bryan involved a homeless man being chased by police in and out of two businesses.

The arrest report from Bryan Police indicates the pursuit began at The String and Horn Shop, where 25 year old Daniel Hall was trying to get money for an instrument he’s accused of stealing.

After a store employee identified the suspect to police, Hall is accused of running out and temporarily losing the officer. With a citizen assist, Hall was found in the Square One Bistro.

Hall is also accused of having marijuana and drug paraphernalia inside the Brazos CountyJail and he is wanted by authorities in Grimes County on a theft charge.
