College Station Animal Control is looking for a german shepherd that bit a woman Saturday morning.
This occurred around 10:30 at Lick Creek Park. Animal Control reports the woman was walking her dog when the german shepherd approached. The woman pulled her dog away and hid behind her leg. The shepherd bit AT the woman’s dog but instead the shepherd bit the woman.
The victim said the shepherd was owned by an older white man with sandy brown hair, wearing a white baseball cap, gray cargo shorts, a white t-shirt, and flip flops. The woman thought the dog was wearing a blue collar but otherwise had no other information.
Anyone who can help locate the dog so it can be observed for signs of rabies infection is asked to contact College Station Animal Control at 764-3600.
