College Station Police responded to three reports of gunfire over the weekend.

Two of the three incidents resulted in arrests. Still sought is the one responsible for shooting someone Friday night in the Southgate Village apartments. The only information released by police is that an unidentified altercation led to a person being shot. The person who was hit was treated for non-life threatening injuries at College Station Medical Center then released.

More gunfire was heard Friday night in Northgate. Police learned an argument over a man’s New York accent led him to go get a handgun from his car and fire one shot in the air. This was in the parking lot of Fuego’s. Officers found 23 year old Alfonso Marcelle of College Station inside the restaurant. He was arrested for discharging a firearm and public intoxication.

And on Saturday morning in the University Acres four-plex development, police were on their way to check out a verbal argument among residents when they received multiple reports of gunfire. 23 year old Jeremie Orender was arrested for firing three shots off his front porch and tampering with evidence by throwing away the gun in the woods behind his backyard.
