CSPD Investigating Two Armed Robberies In The Northgate District

In less than three hours Thursday, there were two armed robberies in or outside of apartment complexes in the Northgate district.

College Station police interviewed one victim in an emergency room, where he was treated for several stab wounds that were not life-threatening. The man said he was a guest at The Standard apartments on Boyett when he was robbed by two white men…one armed with a knife and another with brass knuckles. The suspects took a wallet, a brown bag, and a belt.

The other robbery was on Cherry Street between Tauber and Stasney. That victim said as he was approaching his apartment, a Hispanic or white man with his face covered came up from behind with a gun. That victim, who was not injured, gave the man his wallet.
