It’s been one year since the College Station school board approved new attendance zones.
At the trustees recent meeting there was an update regarding the new College Station High School and the few exceptions to transfer to A&M Consolidated.
Board member Carol Barrett told central office administrators everything needs to be done to communicate those options to parents.

Superintendent Eddie Coulson told the trustees he is happy with the advance planning but warns to expect some hitches between now and when the new high school opens.

The board also approved purchases of $330,407.05 for band instruments and $106,951.56 for grounds equipment at the new high school.
