The College Station school board has approved two options for next year’s calendar.
The teal-colored option calls for fall semester finals to be taken after Christmas. It also means the school year doesn’t finish until the first week of June. Highlights also include a two-week holiday break for students and for staff who use the comp day on January 2, 2015, a holiday on Labor Day, and a full week for Thanksgiving break.
Highlights of the blue-colored option includes no Labor Day holiday, a comp day for staff on Good Friday, and the last day of school for students scheduled for May 29, 2015.
