For the last 13 months, the College Station school board has met with consultants in a grant funded series of meetings to improve the district.
At Tuesday’s final gathering, Trustees President Randall Pitcock says two and a half hours of the four hour session addressed improving student achievement. Pitcock says much of that discussion focused on African-Americans, who make up 15 percent of the student body in CSISD.
