CSISD Administrators Admit Making A Mistake Then Corrects Boundary Committee Recommendations

There was an unscheduled meeting Monday night of the College Station school district’s boundary change committee.

A statement from the school district says the meeting followed comments from some committee members who felt administrators did not accurately depict their recommendations.

It was determined the administration made a mistake where students in the Nantucket area would attend.

CSISD has updated its website to show the committee recommends Nantucket students attend Oakwood Intermediate, A&M Consolidated Middle School, and College Station High School.

No other neighborhoods were affected.

A reminder there are three public forums to provide feedback to the recommendations:

Tuesday, September 6, 2016 – 7 p.m. – CSISD Transportation Center (9304 Rock Prairie Road)
Wednesday, September 7, 2016 – noon – CSISD Transportation Center (9304 Rock Prairie Road)
Monday, September 12, 2016 – 5:30 p.m. – CSISD Boardroom (1812 Welsh Ave.)
