CS Police Announce Murder Charge in Death of Convenience Store Clerk

The Bryan man accused of assaulting, robbing, and kidnapping a College Station convenience store clerk three weeks ago has now been arrested on a murder charge.

College Station police announced 36 year old Nathaniel Tillery was served an arrest warrant Monday for the murder of Kevin Garcia.

Tillery remains in the Brazos County Jail on bonds totaling $1,025,000.00.

Garcia was working at the Exxon at University and the freeway the early morning of March 17 when he was beaten, robbed, placed in the bed of his pickup, then driven to Ft. Worth. Garcia died on March 20.
