CS Police and Fire Respond to Family Violence Incident

News release from College Station police:

On Wednesday, June 24, 2015, at approximately 1030 hours, officers with the College Station Police Department responded to the 400 block of Cooner Street in reference to a male that had been cut with a box cutter by a known member of his household.

The victim, who sustained a non-life threatening injury, stated that he got into an argument with the member of his household around 0400 hours this morning.

After being cutting the victim, the suspect left the scene and was not available to be interviewed by officers.

The victim elected not to press charges in this case and signed a waiver of prosecution.

The victim was treated at the scene by the College Station Fire Department medics. The victim refused to be transported to a medical facility for further treatment.

This case has been turned over to the College Station Police Criminal Investigations Division for further investigation.
