A College Station man is taking another run at elected office.
Tim Delasandro announced Friday he’s seeking the Texas House seat created by a panel of federal judges that’s being contested by the attorney general.
The new District 57 seat includes mostly rural areas of Brazos County.
Delasandro was one of the organizers of this year’s attempted recall of the College Station mayor and several council members and before that ran for the congressional seat now held by Bill Flores.
The current representative in District 57, Marva Beck of Centerville, was moved by redistricting to the 12th district. She has filed for re-election.
