A College Station man remains jailed on charges of firing a shotgun at three people Thursday afternoon and unrelated cases from Walker County.

The arrest report states 25 year old Andrew Sausage is accused of firing a shotgun twice at a pickup occupied by his ex-girlfriend, who left him two weeks ago and was returning to his house to pick up her property.

The first shot hit the front of the truck while it was still in the driveway. The second shot was fired after the truck backed up into the street.

Another man was driving the truck and his one year old son was in the back seat. No one was injured.

Sausage remained in the house for more than one hour, which was when police surrounded the home armed with assault rifles.

The arrest report does not state if Sausage was armed when he came out or if police found the 12 gauge shotgun his ex-girlfriend identified as the weapon.

Police found out about the incident on Mile Drive, near the freeway between the Deacon and Rock Prairie exits, by a neighbor who was outside at his mailbox and heard the gunfire.

Sausage is in the Brazos County Jail on bonds totaling $154,000 dollars. This includes the College Station case accusing him of aggravated assault with a weapon and marijuana possession, and Walker County charges of forgery and theft.
