CS Council Has New Mayor; Fields Wins Place 2 Seat

The voters of College Station expressed their desire for change as they elected a new mayor.

Former city council member Nancy Berry defeated Incumbent Ben White by an 18 percent margin Saturday night.

In fact, Berry managed to capture 59 percent of the votes.

Berry says it was her message of “redirection” that resonated with the voters and she is ready present those issues to the other council members.

“I want to get everybody together to express their opinions openly and honestly and have a really strong dialogue with respect for each other.
