The College Station city council will discuss a citizen’s idea to equalize the amount of time given to supporters and opponents in future rezoning cases.

Hugh Stearns of the College Station Association of Neighborhoods told the council at the last meeting that homeowners believe the government body represents only developers.

Councilwoman Linda Harvell received enough support at the end of their last meeting to discuss the idea of giving developers the same time limit of three minutes as public speakers.

Jerome Rektorik and James Benham also expressed interest in discussing the request.
