More restrooms are coming to Wolf Pen Creek Park. The College Station city council approved spending about $242,000 dollars for what Parks and Recreation Director David Schmitz says is a larger version of what is located at the skateboard park. The unit going into Wolf Pen Creek Park will be located near the Arts Center. It will have three men’s and three women’s stalls and will be open year round.

After the holidays, parents dropping off and picking up children from one neighborhood near College Station Middle School will have to deal with new no parking zones. The city council at its last meeting sided with homeowners in the Williams Court subdivision to establish no parking zones near College Station Middle School along Regal Row and Castlebrook Drive. Councilmembers also called on police to patrol no parking zones around schools a couple days a month.
