CS City Manager’s Office Will Handle Eco-Devo Inquiries

 

College Station City Manager David Neeley.

With one exception, College Station’s City Manager received recommendations which went into his decisions that led to eliminating 27 full and part time positions.

David Neeley says removing the economic and community development office, a $500,000 operation, was his decision based on resources he has in his office.

Neeley noted he has over 30 years experience and his new assistant city manager nearly 30 years experience in economic development.

The elimination meant four people were let go and two others were moved to other departments.
