The first of three new traffic signals in College Station will be activated on Wednesday.
That’s at the intersection of William D. Fitch Parkway, also known as Highway 40, and Barron Road.
The College Station Police Department will have officers working in the area and as a courtesy will be issuing warnings to motorists caught during the first two weeks of the new signals.
Officers remind drivers to watch out for road crews completing final touches at the intersection.
As for signals at Texas and Krenek Tap and at Dominik and George Bush East, city staff say those will be activated “within the next couple of weeks.”
