DALLAS (AP) _ The Dallas Cowboys are standing behind Josh Brent after the defensive tackle was accused of driving drunk and causing a wreck that killed practice squad linebacker Jerry Brown.
Brent was greeted warmly by Coach Jason Garrett at the team’s headquarters Monday, a day after he was released from jail on $500,000 bond on an intoxication manslaughter charge.
Brent attended a memorial service for Brown in Dallas today. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday in St. Louis.
