Congressman Flores Honors Slain Burleson County Sheriff’s Investigator

Last December’s death of a Burleson County sheriff’s investigator was recognized by Congressman Bill Flores of Bryan.

Flores was in Caldwell Friday morning to honor Adam Sowders.

The presentation to Sowders’ mother and two brothers included a copy of Flores’s speech on the House floor in mid-January.

Flores also presented flags flown over the U.S. Capitol in honor of Sowders, who was killed while serving a search warrant with a team of deputies.
