Before the College Station City Council gave the green light for Scott & White to build a new hospital and clinic, there was some drama.
The stage was the city council meeting. The plot included allegations made by Scott & White and neighboring landowners Brian and Noelle Perry.

Early in the dialogue, Scott & White attorney John Cunningham said they were through talking with the Perry’s.

Over one hour later a compromise was reached. Scott & White offered to build access roads to the Perry’s property as city streets are put in associated with the development.
Brian Perry received applause when he dropped his protest to Scott & White’s land use plans along their common border.

That was followed by council approval changing the zoning and selling the land for the new Scott & White campus at the southeast corner of Rock Prairie Road and Highway 6.
