College Station school board members have set the schedule of public meetings that will lead to determining new boundaries for elementary schools.
Deputy superintendent Mike Martindale says the first meeting, which is October 1, will unveil possible scenarios based on the latest information from the district’s demographers.
The board will have two public hearings to receive public comments October 3 at noon and October 4 at 5:30 p.m.
The earliest the board would vote on new elementary boundaries and grandfathering is October 8th.
CSISD elementary boundaries are being changed as the result of the opening next August of River Bend elementary at Rock Prairie and Holleman.
