A College Station police officer tells the driver of a pickup doing burnouts in the Northgate district during the midnight hour on Sunday (December 21) he was going to kill someone. The CSPD arrest report says the truck came to a stop inches from killing innocent bystanders, including two people who were almost underneath the front bumper. 19 year old Jimmie Langley of Mexia was arrested for reckless driving and evading officers. Langley was released from jail after posting bonds totaling $19,000 dollars.
Weekend arrests in the Northgate district by College Station police included multiple charges against a 25 year woman described in jail records as four feet tall and 55 pounds. CSPD arrest reports say on Friday night (December 19), Destiny Galindo of College Station, who said she is pregnant, was arrested for family violence assault with a prior conviction, biting the hand of a paramedic, and harassing officers. As of December 21, Galindo remained in jail in lieu of bonds totaling $38,000 dollars.
