A traffic stop sends a Bryan woman to jail on charges of having methamphetamine in the reach of her three and nine year old children.

A College Station police officer pulled over a SUV Sunday night after failing to stop at the designated point at Harvey and Texas.

After the officer smelled marijuana, a search of the SUV led to finding liquid and crystal meth in a bag under the front seat.

The children, one who was not properly secured, were in the back seat.

31 year old Kendra Sweat-Johnson remains in jail in lieu of bonds on charges of child endangerment and drug possession.

The children were released to family members.
