College Station Police Thanks Citizens For Reporting Suspicious Activity That Led To Vehicle Burglary Arrests

College Station police thanks citizens who reported suspicious activity that led to three arrests in two vehicle burglaries that took place on Tuesday.

According to a CSPD tweet, 17 year old Jeremiah McGruder of College Station and a 16 year old from Waller were caught on Glade Street. McGruder is accused of two vehicle burglaries, and both are accused of evading arrest. According to online records, it’s the third time McGruder has been arrested in the last six weeks. He remains in jail on the burglary and four drug charges in lieu of bonds totaling $27,000 dollars.

CSPD’s second vehicle burglary arrest reported by citizens on Tuesday was in the area of Valley View Drive and Angelina Court…near Texas and Harvey Mitchell. Just after 7:30 in the morning, a victim saw 18 year old Julius Da’wayne Howard break into his pickup truck. Then the victim showed the officer surveillance video. Howard, who was also arrested for unlawful carrying of a weapon, is out of jail after posting bonds totaling $11,000 dollars. Howard is awaiting trials on drug charges and for failing to appear.
