College Station Police K-9 Officer Finds Three Robbery Suspects

College Station police report three 16 year old robbery suspects from Waco were found Friday evening with the assistance of Bryan police and CSPD’s K-9 officer.

According to a CSPD news release, two juvenile males are accused of demanding a woman’s purse in the parking lot of Post Oak Mall.

While the woman still had the purse on her shoulder, one of the suspects is accused of pulling the purse hard enough to cause the woman to fall and be dragged for approximately 15 feet.

The purse eventually came loose from the woman, and the two young men ran to a vehicle where a third young man drove them away.

The woman was treated at the scene for minor injuries.

The getaway vehicle, which was reported stolen from Waco, was found by Bryan police. A chase ended when the stolen vehicle crashed in the area of 24th and Neal.

Three suspects ran out of the stolen vehicle and eluded officers until CSPD K-9 officer Rico found them.

All three were arrested on robbery charges.
