A College Station police officer discovers illegal drugs in two plastic bags that a child had in one of his shoes.

According to the CSPD arrest report, this incident began last Saturday night when the officer clocked a car going 58 miles per hour on Wellborn Road near Holleman.

After the car stopped on Holleman, the driver and his children got out as asked by the officer.

A second officer who arrived noticed one of the children fidgeting with his shoes. That led to the discovery of two bags.

One bag contains what the first officer believes to be several dozen ecstasy pills. The other bag had raw marijuana.

43 year old Montrez Dorsey of College Station was released from jail Monday after posting bonds totaling $20,500 dollars on charges of possessing the drugs, trying to destroy the marijuana, and giving a false name.

The arrest report did not indicate who received custody of the children following his arrest.
