Two men are being sought after College Station police chased a stolen car to Hearne Saturday night.
According to a CSPD news release, a patrol officer driving in the area of Southwest Parkway and Potomac Place spotted what was described as a suspicious vehicle. What made the vehicle suspicious was not disclosed.
A check of the license determined the vehicle was reported stolen on May 18.
The patrol vehicle turned on its lights and siren, but the stolen vehicle got on the freeway and drove to Hearne.
The stolen vehicle stopped in the parking lot of the Columbus Village apartments in Hearne, and the driver and passenger were able to run away without being caught.
The driver was identified as a black man in his late teens to early 20’s, approximately 5 feet 10 to six feet tall, 150-170 pounds, thin build, and short black hair wearing a black t-shirt, black athletic shorts, and white shoes.
