College Station Police Arrest Bryan Man On Multiple Charges That Included Leading Officers On A Chase In A Stolen Truck

College Station police say a Bryan man driving a stolen pickup led officers on a chase of more than five miles.

What began just before noon Monday in the area of Texas and Southwest Parkway ended in Bryan near Finfeather and Pease.

28 year old Miron Evans was arrested following a short food chase on charges of stealing the unlocked truck that had keys inside, before that trying to steal another vehicle. two counts of evading arrest, resisting arrest, and resisting transport.

According to CSPD tweets, Evans threatened someone with a hammer and tried to get into cars before stealing the truck.

According to online records, it is the 24th time Evans has been in the Brazos County jail Since January of 2001.
