Two men are out of jail on bond following their recent arrests by College Station police for drunk driving with two prior convictions.
One arrest began as a response to a disorderly conduct call. The victim gave a description of the suspect’s pickup. According to the arrest report, the officer stopped the truck on University near Live Oak after seeing the truck sway and almost hitting the curb several times. 34 year old Frank Benjamin Hernandez of Navasota was arrested after failing sobriety tests and telling the officer he had drank about eight beers in less than four hours.
And 31 year old Caleb Van Meter of College Station was arrested following a traffic stop after the officer saw the vehicle registration was out of date.
